or maybe only shoes on sale gives you that, where you gotta invest on plasters and scar healing gels later on. i usually don't have blisters by shoes but today alone i had 4 emergency plasters on my feet because of this new pair of shoes of a very damn good price to replace my torn dearie of 2 years.
i wish old shoe soles can heal on its own.
i finished my 4-year course. i just used my last drop of toner. my printer ink is almost kosong. my dvd burner was sent to low yat this afternoon. selfish is done and waiting to be printed. i dont have any rice to cook. except unpolished rice. my watch getting sadder. router here is too old to function properly. what else...
my phone decided to join the list too. it evaporated in the air of kl this afternoon. i guess i have been cursing it too much.
suddenly, nobody gets to call me. it was a relief somehow; yet, i was scared. contradictory.
p/s: SIM recovered. phone, yet to replace.
if you've been catching with what i'm up to lately, you should know that me and a few classmates are busy producing a memory book which we named it as selfish.
thanks to ebee for the name, it beat my the end of darkness hands down when it won the most votes from our dearest classmates. they sure know this is the best book title ever! as soon as i have done with my assignments & submissions, if i'm not out for any activities, i'd be sitting here in front of the pc arranging the pages and chasing after artworks and data from those who still want to be in the book. we have 5 designers and a boss from the committee responsible for 40+ profiles, and through this, i realized how suitable the name is for our book. the selfish trait is seen in almost everybody! just look at how the design team do their own pages and you'll know, including myself. we just want our page to be the best, the most special, and the most of whatever, others, just do our best la, but not better than our own. though no harm to the others, still it is obvious there is something more complete than the other pages!
anyway, the others don't worry, we do not simply get it done. the boss has been having headaches touching up and changing every mistakes, we will make sure everything is perfectly nice before sending it for printing. which also means me and chinnyin need to make sure everything is okay, satisfied with it then only we get to go home. i hope tomorrow night is the last check, because i have bak chang waiting for me at home!~! and before the bak chang, i need to cabutkan my dvd-rom out to low yat before the warranty expires on 26 july. why 26 july again, what's with this busy date? also, i still need to buy fabric and make the portfolio bag for anuz... before home. the rest has to wait then.
thus, there is not enough time to go for offset printing for selfish, which could be much more cheaper, could be... according to the more experienced daniel p, there are a lot of rules and details to follow if we want to go for offset printing. it's going to take around 2 weeks to prepare those and another 5 working days to print. so we'll just leave it to digital print. anyway it is the other guy's job, we'll just need to make sure it is ready on convo, because that's the only time everyone is back together again.
now, i only need to get some group photos from throughout these 4 years by stealing them in facebook and my multiply photos (since my photos are mostly in cds and my dvdrom can't read it). just pray that the line goes smooth, which is not really good currently~
can't wait to see the book ready within this 2 weeks.
oh shit, haven't gotten a cover yet! arghhh~
it started with a blank canvas, a pair of fake eyelashes, some diamante, glitters and splashes of colours. butterfly is a cliche for change
flowers for spring from the hands of Nur in Honey Beeuty International Academy.
a beeutifully day.
she came over in the morning since i wasn't ready yet, and showed off her new lomo robot with 3 eyes. awesome stuff from korea.
while i was getting ready, she checked online for what to do after the wedding we were about to crash in later. i don't know the couple but she does, a few years our seniors and lomo manias. i just followed, randomly as a part-nerd.
that was the first malay wedding i've ever attended, since i was born as a malaysian 22 years ago. as usual, we took all those public transports and crazily took a cab that hasn't even ticked more than the fixed RM2 to reach the location. it was damn within walking distance :P we were there to give some blessing (and of course free food~), finished my remaining frames of film and enjoyed the wedding for around an hour. then we left after getting the goodie bag with some souvenirs in it (muffin, kuih bangkit and boiled egg). from the star line lrt, we randomly dropped off at plaza rakyat and went to the toilet at ancasa hotel... then crossed over to kota raya. never been there too although for 4 years i've been strolling around petaling street. lots of cheap accessories, dvds and comics. since it was a sunday, those shops i wanted to buy fabric and sponge were closed. gotta come back again on weekdays to get the materials then. next, we visited annexe for whatever exhibition they are having, it was the lurking photographs, then walked through petaling street to a magazine shop and jeen called on the way. jeen: where are you? ebee: i'm at petaling street. jeen: with who? ebee: chenyee. jeen: i hate you! the randomness ended under a hot and lazy sunday afternoon. i said, see you at convo then as we bid goodbye at pasar seni. she said, nooo...
ok, we'll see each other again soon.
I was freed on 1st July. On the 2nd, since I only went to campus to burn some DVDs (but unsuccessful in the end), Pat saw me and asked me to help WX in her works, she simply had toooooo many to do and desperately needed help. Long story short, all her works were done in the morning of moderation. Back to July 2nd. Since it was Ivana's birthday, and we are not celebrating it together in Redang~... nevermind... we had dinner at Daorae in Bandar Puteri. Those who were there are: me, chinnyin, ivana&ck, kendy, cabo, very, natasha, sartika, and another girl someone has to tell me who that is. the exhaust thing we were so curious to play with. i love all those in the plates but were too full to finish them. too bad kendy didn't like them.
so he ate this snack bought earlier in 7-11. funny. he is like has to have some indo food as meals. kimchi! kimchi! ck please look here. nice. ck took a day leave for his princess's birthday, howwwww sweet. that fella kept asking was is enough the food we ordered~ menu. it's beef and pork, so there was no aliifa and ariena with us. the next day, we went to red box the curve for some screaming and cheap-skating at the buffet. after this dinner, as we were following cabo's car, we went to kelana jaya to fetch his princess from a make up class. jeen was there as the model of the night. crazy as ever, we sent her back to her place, apparently at the same condo with sis in Damansara. we only stopped by for 15 minutes, parked at the wrong place and got clamped. duh...
p/s: ivana i don't have the group pics u send me or just post it up ok!
It's been like a year since I last went shopping with Abby and SS, and never only me and Abby, as long as i remembered. Usually when we go shopping, it was always me and Abby who walk together in a fast speed, because that's our speed. SS usually couldn't catch up with us~ But yesterday SS had to accompany her friend over some incident so there was only 2 left for the pre-planned shopping trip. SS has been trapped in Cheras since her internship started last month, too bad she couldn't join us. The day started with me waking up late. Apart from that, the rest (including cash flow) went smooth and pleasant until the end of the day. We agreed on Bangsar since I had this in mind even before I asked Abby for suggestion. Apparently she wants to do a survey for the current trend of clothes because she is starting an online business selling clothes, and I am now responsible to think for a name for that business. Meanwhile, for me, the last time I went for leisurely shopping was like... err I don't remember. Since her car has some problem yet to be fixed, we traveled by public transport, with multiple transits but none of us had the time to complain anything about that as we were too busy catching up with each other's stories. In fact, we didn't have to wait for long too for the buses or trains to arrive, the longest being 20+- minutes for we missed the previous bus by a minute. The minute we wait would be the minute we filled in with topics, so waiting was totally painless yesterday. It felt a bit like we are back in form 3 again, where we sat together in the class and talk about anything and everything all day long, no matter how many chalks or equivalent stuffs where thrown at our direction. We simply have too many to talk about. From the current news over our friends, our graduation, her master's in UPM, her lost-and-found-dead dog back in SP, where we both shed tears over this in the LRT, to a friend that needs some advice and counseling. We did pause in between but never longer than 2 minutes unless we are separated while browsing in boutiques. Lunch in Delicious Bangsar Village II was nice.
nice arrangement of spotlight right on every table. my tall latte. her frosted lychee. my four cheese macaroni. yumm! her Tunisian eggplant and tomato spaghethini. The food was delicious as its name and not too noisy surrounding despite it was full house at that lunch hour. We spent around an hour there before we went browsing in all those boutiques at that jalan telawi area, where I got a top in the first shop we went in, called Blueberry. We agreed that this boutique has the best selection of clothes compare to all the others. And you won't believe how we both could skip a shop we didn't feel like going in without having to speak.A few other recommended boutiques are Mooie and Tea Time. Man I miss all those boutiques, too many to see and be inspired. I already have some things in mind that I want to make from browsing in those places looking at the pretty things. Since I have a business in my mind too, it was kinda like 2 of us were doing our research and discussing about renting a place at the curve and setting up a blog or web to sell stuffs. This is what I called something we have in common. This is just too comfortable. Maybe because she is going to Bangkok next week to get the clothes as stock, she ended up buying nothing. So we went to Mid Valley and I got myself a 50%+10% off black pants from GAP. It was after much consideration that it is definitely a nice pair and could be worn for long, starting off as what I'd be wearing for my convo. Counting at this, it is going to worth the money spent. Then I decided to stop buying things. We went to Sushi Zanmai for dinner where we spent another hour or so sitting in the 2-person small space for the perfectly nice sushi. The chawanmushi is just so aromatic and smooth. We only left the place after uncountable refills of green tea and both our bladders need some relief. There was nothing else to do so it marked the time to go home. after the KTM, ERL and 429, envied her birthday in Bangkok next week and bid a bye. Then rest was about being very tired, had to wash a lot of clothes, think a name for her and sleep my way to a date with another Ebee in the morning. Another nice day awaits.

you continue to complain about price hike and boycott your petrol station, i continue to take my public transport.
so you can stop forwarding me mails on boycotting petrol stations and government. akur tak akur, living cost is going to adjust from time to time anyway.

like, those we can think with our asshole. like, i have a piece of cake but how do i share it with you. i never answered them because i would be answering them sarcastically.
tell me why some people don't have common sense.

back in secondary school, some students put a lot of green in their paintings because miss khoo likes green and most likely will give higher marks in that. i don't know how true was that, but if i don't like what i see, who cares about what colour she likes or not.
that was the time when we do what the teachers like.
* * * now, in semester 8, graduating like, next month, do you still ask questions like: what does (that lecturer) want for that project?
come on, we are doing mostly projects on self promotion for these 2 semesters, and you still ask what the lecturer wants instead of what YOU want... isn't that ridiculous.
you dont read your project brief?
do you show less than 2 scamps and expect people to help you? how do you compare when there is nothing to compare?
by now we are supposed to think for ourselves, do what we think is suitable and ask for comments from the lecturer, not ask for ideas nor just waiting for approval. but there are still people who do just that, she no approve i no need do lo. she so mafan wan. what she wan actually?
we are pursuing our own future not your lecturer, right? who's gonna worry for you if you yourself dont give a damn about it?
the deadline is near, the project has been going on for weeks, and someone just popped up and asked that question, along with stuffs mentioned a hundred times before.
if in WX's case, i'm willing to help her because she has solid things to tell when she needs help and discussion. but not to those people who never read briefs and ask exactly what people have been discussing all this while.
sorry, i refuse to answer. find it out yourself, or go ask somebody else.
the many first experiences and sneak peak of photos. 9May20086pm reached Melaka. Eunice's parents came to pick me up at Melaka Sentral at around 6.20. went to pick up flowers and cakes before back to Merlimau at 7. had dinner and met with the bridesmaid-in-honour (Reni) and one of th e bridesmaid (Yuki). chit-chatted with the relatives. as this is a Baba & Nyonya family, all of them speak malay mix english. 11pm prepared to sleep while some waiting to pick up another bridesmaid (Su Ann), who got a late bus from KL. 10May20083.30am woke up to get dressed and make up done. photographers and makeup artists arrived and started work at about 4am. Siew Eng the head of jimui prepared questions and some weird meals for the groom's side. Eunice, and her mother in kebaya
7.40am arrival of the groom from Kajang. played the usual stuff in a super short time because the mother was chasing us to be fast. missed out some important games and let the groom go get the bride just like that. very damn easy. tea session also super short coz not many relatives. had photoshoot and breakfast before departing to church. 8.45am followed Yuki's car with Su Ann to St. Francis Xavier Church. sang some holy songs, prayed, lighted candles and signed some official paper. the priest kept reading eunice' name as yunik instead of yunis... the bridesmaid Yuki and SuAnn Damien the nephew (right) led the march down the aisle. 11am only around 6 person including a guy fought for the bouquet thrown by the bride. pitiful. nobody got the bouquet in the first 2 times, the guy got it on the 3rd throw~... had buffet lunch at the church. and went for photoshoot at the Stadhuys area. those smokers smoked like nobody's business, but the pictures are to be taken out by the photographers, as agreement has been done between them. 12.15pm checked into Fenix Inn opposite Hotel Equatorial. me, yuki and suann in one room. took turn to bath, chatted about eunice's many stories of the ex-bfs and patched them up into one complete story which make a full stop at alex. took a nap. 4pm dressed up and put on make up, walked over to Equatorial to help the bride. they were panicking for some last minute changes in the ballroom. the father wished everything is over ASAP coz it was really tiring. followed alex to ballroom to get things ready. lighted some candles at the cocktail party area. arranged wedding albums and guest book. 6pm guests arriving. the 5 jimui became the receptionists. the crowd giving ang pows, signing guest book and checking tables from us before the ballroom's door opened. those aunties came in kebayas, so nice. christina and bf came in t-shirt, jeans and slippers, without make up and hair done!~ hmm... guest book
me and yuki 8pm dinner reception started, registration reception closed. we went in and got separated. i sat with christina&bf, lynn&effa (from the 'serve with style' charity event eunice had with), and some other limkokwing fellas. food served, music played, aunties and uncles line-danced... made by eunice's godmom. 11pm crowd leaving, left only some close friends cum clubbers. music changed, wine served for final toasting and make-eunice-drunk. posing for cameraman the band still playing
at around 11.30pm music changed to RnB. those usual clubbers sworn into the dance floor and started crazing. led by the bride, the dancing queen.
wine and wine and more wine i think i had at least 3 glasses of wine... dance and dance and never ending last songs by the mc-dj. 12.30am finally the party ended. everybody followed back to the bridal suite. fooling around, and talked nonsense. i was so tired... 1.30am the bride chased us out. by that time alex already passed out on the bed from the many bottoms-up mixed wine and beer served earlier. somebody still energetic and wanted to go clubbing or karaoke or yamcha... so in the end we went to eat the famous satay-celup. i only ate 2 sticks, was about to doze off anytime. freaking tired and sleepy... SuAnn blacked out and rest in the car, finally Siew Eng drove some 7 of us in her car back to the hotel at 2.30. 3am kelam-kabuted, bathed, packed some stuffs and dead-fish on the bed. 11May20089am the alarm was at 10, but already waken by SuAnn at 9 because her clutch with phone and ID and cards were in Siew Eng's car boot. called this and that to find a solution, packed and left to eunice's room again to meet them up. 12.30pm left Hotel and headed back to Merlimau. got SuAnn's things back. had lunch at Eunice's house. 2pm left melaka. i followed yuki's car coz she was going back to damansara. chatted non-stop to keep both of us awake although very super sleepy. not forgetting to had some smokey puffs, not me. reached kl at 4, took the wrong turn and made a big round finally dropped off at kelana jaya at 5. back to cyber at 6. had dinner at 7. so tired i slept from 9 to the next morning... i haven't gotten my jimui ang pow... but nevermind. dunno when can get the full set of photos. will post more of the photos later.
